Christmas Card Assignment

Summary

In this project i had to make a 8.5 x 11 Christmas Card with 4 categories. The first category was a Collage which was located in the top right side of the card. The second category was a Christmas text which was located in the bottom right hand side of the card. The third category was random but had to be related to the theme of "Christmas" which was located in the bottom left hand side of the card. The forth category was a logo which was located in the top left hand side of the card.
Work Flow

Step 1: I started working on the Collage, which I inserted 7 images related to the theme "Christmas" these images were a Christmas Tree, Snow Flakes, Snowman, Snow, Santa and Reindeer's, Sky, and Christmas Presents. Within this list of images i applied the layer mass tool.
Step 2: I added a text related to the theme "Christmas" which was " Before the clock strikes at 12 let me greet you and your family a merry Christmas". Since the Christmas card had to be in the format of of regular card i rotated the text 180 degrees clockwise.
Step 3: I admitted Santa's Christmas Hat rotated 180 degrees clockwise.
Step 4: I made a logo.
Reflection

In this project i learned how to use the ruler and the slice tool making every thing symmetric. Making the montage helped me recognized, remember and learn different tools about "Adobe Photo shop" program. Constructing the card was very helpful to me because it helped me recognize the meaning of Christmas; which is for you and your family to get together, have fun and open presents.I made a logo with two arrow's facing opposite representing that "you can go up or down in life your choice"
