Summary
My montage is trying to communicate that “life is a race till the end” Because it is. I added cars, buses, people, helicopters and planes so it can indicate everyone can join the race in life. The flag was posted in the entire image because it represent the goal line, everyone has goals in life right. It pretty weird a road in the sky but I tried to do something unique I’m really proud of my art work.
Work flow
1. First I went to Google and searched all the images needed.2. I started with my collage and added an interesting background which was an actual sky, I named my layer "sky". 3. I added a Road as an image and placed it in the middle of the background making it look realistic.4. I added a Nissan Skyline (car) as a image and placed it on the right side of the road. I transformed the size smaller and named the layer "Nissan skyline" including a layer mass of opacity 85%.5. I added a Helicopter as an image and placed it on the left hand side on the background. I transformed it with a horizontal flip. I also added affects to the image which were Drop shadow, Inner shadow, Inner glow and Bevel and Emboss named the layer "Helicopter" and also added layer mass which its opacity 95% looking bold.6. I added Superman as an image and placed it on the right hand side of the background. I transformed the size smaller and named the layer "superman". i also added some effects to the image which were Drop shadow and bevels and emboss. i named the layer "superman" including a layer mass of opacity of 94% also looking bold.7. I added a Cop Car as an image and placed it on the left center of the background. I transformed it with a horizontal flip and named the layer "Cop Car" including a layer mass of 89%.8. I added a Old Car as an image and placed it on the left hand side of the long road. I named the layer "old Car “and added a layer mass of 73%.9. I added a man on a motorcycle as an image and placed it on the center on the background. I transformed the size bigger named the layer "motorcycle" and added a layer mass of 66%.10. I added a school bus as an image and placed it on the right center of the background . i named the layer "school bus" and added a layer mass of 34%12. Finally I added a black & white flag as an image and placed it all around the background. I transformed it way bigger. i named the layer "flag' and added a layer mass of 22% Reflection
In the project i learned how to use many different tools I never seen or never heard have before. After time went by trying to create my montage I started recognized and memorizing. with the opacity and blending tools I pretty much learned how to make a picture more realistic according to the background.
Image manipulation
ReplyDeleteCorrectly uses color correction, selection tools, and retouching tools to manipulate images and focus the composition on the subject. Alterations to the image somewhat supports the original meaning of the image. The image looks cool and I like the way you reflected on what the pictured meant. There are parts that you didn’t have to erase and you can tell when you zoom in on the picture. But overall the reflection and the picture made sense on what you where trying to say. In this part I’m going to give you a 2.
Montage
Montage communicates a story. Montage includes at least three effective image manipulation techniques (adjusting color, retouching, selecting, cropping, resizing, and so on) using Photoshop. Images used in the montage have adequate permissions and/or are cited correctly. Montage is copyrighted as original material. Your story really goes with the picture that life is really a race and that anyone can join it and everyone has a goal in life. You used tools to add the image in the back and be able to see it with the other background you had. The images you lower the capacity so they would look more realistic and flow with the whole picture. That is why I’m going to give you a 2 in this section.
Workflow & Reflection
Provides 1–2 written paragraphs reflecting on what the student learned and how they used image composition and elements of visual design in the montage. Your reflection and workflow is good for your montage. The reflection was clear to understand the message that you where trying to say. Your work flow is good because you incorporated what you did to the entire pictures not just one. You used tools like the layer mask, lower the opacity, and other tools to make your montage more realistic. So you did pretty well in this part of workflow and reflection that is why I’m going to give you a 2 in this part.
